Entry ports

On arrival in the following entry ports, all yachts must report at the Gendarmerie office who will supply a Customs form to be filled out and sent to Papeete Customs office by mail.

Formalities and documents

Arrival clearance  Made in the first port of call at the local GENDARMERIE office

Crew and passenger list (name, quality, date/place of birth, nationality, passport numbers)
Departing / arriving crew or passengers if any (with flight details)
Arms, ammunitions, animals, alcohol, Tobacco, endangered species on board ...(detailed lists)
All passports with valid visas to be stamped in

Arrival clearance  Made in Papeete (Official port of entry) with Immigration, Customs and Port

Crew and passenger list (name, quality, date/place of birth, nationality, passport numbers)
Departing / arriving crew or passengers if any (with flight details)

Copy of yacht registration
Health declaration with Pilots (over 40m)

All passports with valid visas to be stamped in

Inter-island clearance  For all trips from Papeete to any island of French Polynesia, except Moorea

Crew and passenger list (name, quality, date/place of birth, nationality, passport numbers)
Expected itinerary within French Polynesia

departure clearance  Necessary to get export duty free fuel

Crew and passenger list (name, quality, date/place of birth, nationality, passport numbers)

All passports to be stamped out

Crew movements

All crew and passenger arrival and departure to/from the yacht must be declared at the Immigration office, the local Gendarmerie office or your local agent.
